About the Farm

Where It Started

Mountain Top Boer Goats began with a handful of does on a steep, rocky hillside — the kind of country that quickly shows you which animals can really do the job. Those early years shaped everything about how we breed today.

We select for correct feet and legs, deep bodies, strong pigmentation and mothers that raise their kids without fuss. Anything that does not measure up leaves the herd.

How We Farm

Our animals run on natural veld with supplementation only where it is needed. Every goat is handled regularly, condition scored, and kept on a strict vaccination and parasite control programme in consultation with our vet.
